FRENCH BISQUE POUPEE WITH LOVELY DELICATE COMPLEXION
Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with daintily-accented lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, antique undergarments, wonderful striped silk costume, antique felt hat.
Especially beautiful face enhanced by delicate bisque, superb painting of lips, very sturdy original body.

Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 4 (head and shoulders).
French, Jumeau, circa 1875.
