Felt swivel head with slender face and elongated throat,pressed and painted facial features,brown side-glancing eyes with shaded color and white accent dots,long brown painted curly lashes,high arched brows,brown and grey eye shadow,accented nostrils,bow- shaped lips, mohair wig in soft curls,jointing at shoulders,hips and knees designed to allow a seated pose.
26 1/2" (67 cm.) tall.
Condition: good condition to age, the dress a little bit worn.
Lenci,circa 1925 from the boudoir series 165.
Very beautifully-painted face of the style known as "Gish face",wearing original white organdy gown with a multitude of tiered ruffles and felt flowers, petticoat,pantalets felt heeled shoes,stockings,and black original hat.
