Very beautiful and all original Polichinelle Bisque Doll in factory original costume and great condition, made for the French market.
Bisque shoulder head, blue glass inset eyes, dark upper eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open/closed mouth, original cloth body with wire inside and sewn-on jester silk costume, bisque hands, mohair wig. He is wearing original silk Polichinelle costume and matching jester cap.

Polichinelle dolls was very popular in France in 1880-1900 and there are used for the luxury French trade.

Condition: generally excellent.
