Rare French Parisienne Doll by Maison HURET,period Mrs Huret, circa 1855.

This kind of the model you can find at the THE HURET BOOK by Francois Theimer.

Size 18 inch (45 cm). The china bust, painted blue eyes, full articulated all-wood body by Anquelle, tenon joints at elbow, waist, hips and knees. The doll wear the original leather band with stamp of Medal by Huret, 1855. She is in excellent condition. No hairlines, cracks, etc.

She is wearing an ORIGINAL wonderful dress, hat, shoes and underwear. Mohair blond wig.

One of the first model of Huret! There are were officiallt y p[resented in 1852.

Every Huret doll was unique, made at the request of a wealthy clientele, concerned about originality and individualization. The HURET doll was and sill is UNIQUE in the doll industry.
