Antique dolls at
Rare All Original Blue Satin Duchesse Ensemble for large fashion doll

Of cornflower-blue silk satin duchesse, the ensemble comprises form-fitted bodice with dart-shapping, slightly-flared peplum, six lacing holes at front bodice with cream color grosgrain silk ribbons criss-crossing over the box-pleated plastron, muslin and lace modesty panel, silk ribbon lacking, double-seam long sleeves with lace faux-cuffs, brown sateen lining, hook and eye closure.
With matching skirt having four alternate panels: flat-cut, undercorated box-pleated, decorated box-pleated with criss-crossed silk ribbons, and ruffled tiered lace interwoven with silk ribbons, balayeuse, cotton sateen lining. The skirt back is slightly gathered with deeply-flounced overskirt. With matching cotton muslin petticoat.

Good condition to age, silk on the front of the jacket has a little shattered silk.

6" (15 cm) shoulder width, about 11" (28 cm) waist, 7" (18 cm) jacket length, 14" (36 cm) skirt length.
18" (46cm) full length of the ensemble.
Fit for doll about 24-25" (61-64 cm).
French, c.1880.
