This is a very rare ans very tiny french treasure! Wonderful doll sewing case one is one of the tinest ones we have ever seen. The etui in form rundlet measures 7/8" tall and 1" including handles, and is 1 1/16" in diameter across the top and 7/8" wide across the bottom. It is made of CARVED-BONE with beautifully fashioned horizontal ribbing encircling the top and bottom. The etui in full original and completed including it's blue velveteen covering on top which houses all of it's original tiny sewing tools.

The sewing tools are in fitted ensemble, comprising scissore, thimble, awl and needle case. A tiny thimble measuring 1/4" tall, the needle case 7/8" tall, the scissors 1 1/4" tall, the awl 3/4" tall. The utensils are original to the etui, evidenced by the tiny holes in the top compartment which fit each individual piece.
