Antique Original Leather and metal pattens (overshoes) and silk shoes for large french fashion doll. France, c.1830.
Fashionable ladies' shoes of the 18th century were hardly suitable to any attempt to venture outdoors. To provide some protection, of overshoes were used. Of course, for ladies dolls too...
The pvershoes has wooden sole. The black silk shoes decorated with silk bows. Good condition to age.

All original and very rare!

Measures of the overshoes 3 1/2" (9 cm) length and 1 1/2" (3 cm) wide.
The shoes 3 1/2" (8 cm) length, 1" (2,5 cm) wide.
Good condition to age.
