RARE FRENCH BISQUE "P.D." BEBE BY PETIT & DUMOUTIER with classic plump round face. Marks: P. 5 D. 26" (66 cm). Circa 1870.

Bisque socket head, blue paperweight eyes, painted lashes, eyeliner, mauve-blushed eyelids, feathered and brushstroked brows, pierced ears, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, wooden and wood and composition jointed body with 8 balls, metal hands painted to match the remainder of the body.

She is wearing antique original rose silk dress, underwear, lace hat, antique leather boots. Very good condition. Only very-very tiny invisible hairline at the back of head. Her crying mechanism is not work.
