Simon & Halbig 1249 ‘Santa’ bisque head doll, German circa 1910, the pale bisque head with weighted blue glass eyes, lashes and thickly feathered raised eyebrows, open mouth with upper teeth, pierced ears and original human hair wig, on a fully jointed wood and composition body, wearing a original red woolen dress with hand made feather embroidery, cotton underwear, leather boots, incised S & H 1249, DEP, Germany, SANTA, 8.
The bisque head in excellent condition, free of hairline or restoration.
The body has original finish, small loss of painting on the right leg (please look the last photo).

21" (54 cm) tall.
