Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass spiral-threaded paperweight eyes with darker blue outer rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, pale accented lips, impressed dimples at philtrum and chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, bisque lower arms with cupped fingers, lovely original blue silk stripped costume and velvet bonnet, undergarments, stockings, and leather shoes.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F. 5 G. (head and shoulders). Gaultier, circa 1880. 36cm tall Especially beautiful bebe with splendid eyes, sturdy original body and perfect bisque hands. This type bebe was shown in an article, "The Elusive A.T. Bebes" by Samy Odin in Doll News, Spring 2017 in which he hypothesized that thiese bebe, marked F.G., was commissioned and marketed by Thuillier. ------------------------------------ I DO A LAYAWAY.
