Very Beautiful Antique Ivory Silk Party Gown With Matching Party Hat Antique dolls at Respectfulbear.com

Of exquisite delicate ivory silk satin, the party gown features a rounded neckline framed by an ivory silk ruffle, unusual sleeves. The bodice is fitted and them flares into a flared overskirt that covers the top of the skirt. The skirt has narrow pleats. The dress closure at the front with hook and eye. The bodice is decorated with blue silk covered buttons and bows; the skirt is decorated with with cross-hatch banding of the same punctuated by blue silk rosettes. The entire gown is lined with a very light-weight gauze muslin. Included is a matching jester-shaped party hat with blue silk bows, the hat has a same lining.
Appropriately sized for 17-18 in.(43-46 cm) Huret style poupee or fashion doll. Excellent condition to age.

Measures - 16" (41 cm) length,4 and 1/2" (11 cm) shoulders, 8" (21 cm) waist, 4 and 1/2" (11 cm) sleeve.
