Very Rare antique original miniature dolls

Very nice and rare miniature artistic dolls, wire and wool, hand made by Mme Lazarski. There are were mascots for aviators and soldiers of WW 1. 2 1/2" height (6 cm). Thabee Lazarski worked in Paris together with mademoiselle Elisa Prevost-Huret and she was the last owner Huret company. She has been very first artist doll maker to have been invited to present her cloth dolls in a prestigious Art Gallery in Paris. Paul Poiret was so impressed by those incredible naive and modern creations that he decided to encourage his "Atelier Martine " students to start the making of cloth doll too, those having a strong resemblance with Lazarski's own creations.

There are really very rare and very interesting and rare historical dolls. Six pairs.
