Very rare Antique French Bebe doll Schmitt & Fils, circa 1880.
Wonderful cabinet size 14" (36 cm.)

She has pressed bisque socket head with very plump face, blue glass enamel eyes with darker outer rims, painted features, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over original pink plaster pate, original French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with original body finish, straight wrists and flat-cut derriere, wearing antique rose and ivory silk dress, straw bonnet with flowers, antique undergarments and shoes. Marks: "0" on the head and pate; "Sch" in shield on derriere.
Her bisque without cracks, chips, etc. Very good condition.
