WONDERFUL BISQUE DOLL IN ORIGINAL JESTER COSTUME ON MUSICAL DRUM
10" (26 cm.) Standing upon a velvet-covered drum with braid trim,is a bisque solid dome head doll costumed as jester,with brown glass eyes,painted features, closed mouth,wooden block torso and legs,spring-upper arms,wooden lower arms,painted stockings and black shoes.
When the drum squeezed, the doll play with his bells.
and the doll the doll dances about.

Condition:
good condition to age, but part of his neck at the right side has been re-glued, please look the last photo.

Marks: 110 (head) 46/10/451(pencil script on base of drum).
Germany, for the French market,circa 1895.
