Very rare French automaton in very good condition!
Jumeau doll with open mouth, brown paperweight fixed eyes, pierced ears, brown wig and cork pate, on composition body with jointed arms, all original silk dress with lace trim, original silk shoes and original cotton undergarments with lace trim.
Marked on back of the head with red mark

She holds a basket in her right hand and an umbrella in left. When operated she moves right hand up and open lid of the basket, left hand moves from side to side. Mounted on the top of velvet-covered wooden box which houses the mechanism.
