Of narrow horizontally-banded white cotton pique, the high-waisted original french dress has box-pleated back skirt, flat-cut flared front panel, elaborate overall soutache trim, mancheron sleeves with soutache trim and 2/3 muslin sleeves with white embroidery and lace edging, hook and eye closure at the back.

17 1/2" (45 cm) length, 7 1/2" (19 cm) sleeve, 16" (`41 cm) sleeve, 8" (20 cm) shoulders.
Fit for doll about 26" (65 cm) tall.
