This is a rare beautiful antique doll from Russian Empire, nice small size, only 24 cm. The doll maker is SZRAJER & FINGERHUT, a Jewish family from Kalisz.( Now Kalisz is in Poland) The bisque head is marked 448 2/0.
The doll has light blue-coloured fixed inset glass eyes, delicately painted dark grey lashes, light-brown feathered brows, accented nostrils, red coral lips, open mouth with tiny porcelain teeth. The doll wears her original light brown mohair wig braid, on original cardboard pate.
Her body is a fully articulated composition body with stiff wrists.

The doll wears an elaborate all original Russian costume by Samara region. The doll wears also cotton uderware and leather boots, and a necklace of glass beads.

Good condition. Her bisque free of hairline, restoration, any damages, original body finish.
