French Doll's Tea Set Service by Cuperly, Blondel and Gerbea10
10" x 7" x 3.5" box. A wooden framed box with rich paper covering
and designed label reading "Service metal, Fabrique Francaise, CBG Pris 1889" opens to reveal originally fitted elaborate doll-sized tea service for six, comprising six cups and saucers, teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, sugar tongs and six spoons in gold finish, one dish with paper mache "cakes". A store label for CBG is on the underside of the box.
Excellent condition (only one leg at the sugar is missing), the service is beautifully preserved as originally presented in elegant box. Paris, Frace. Cuperly, Blondel, and Gerbeau, circa 1889.
