A heavy early pasteboard box, with lithographed cover depicting a scene, of two women with two little girls in the newest fashions of the season playing with three fashion dolls. It is labeled «La Toilettes Parisienne».
The box contain one double-sided paper doll, 7 double-sided hand-colored costumes, 6 hats with wigs. All costumes designed to slide over the head and body of the doll.
The cover image is signed Watilliaux Editeur, B.Coudert, lithographed by H.Jannin, Paris.

Very good/excellent condition. French, circa 1860.
