Antique French Fashion Bisque Poupee Doll from Simonne

16" (41 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted facial features,closed mouth,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig,cork pate,kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips,knees and elbows,separated fingers.

Condition: generally excellent,body especially sturdy and clean. Marks: (Simonne stamp on torso). Comments: made exclusively for the prestige Parisian doll shop of Simonne.

The doll wears very beautiful silk organza dress and hat, antique underwear, she has her original leather shoes.
