A very beautiful and elaborate antique doll dress, created in a romantic all-white ensemble and richly embellished with layers of delicate period lace.
The fitted bodice is made of fine white dotted cotton muslin and features three-quarter sleeves finished with wide lace cuffs. The front is particularly impressive, lavishly decorated with cascading gathered lace ruffles forming a full, dimensional jabot from the neckline to the waist and continuing down over the skirt. Delicate rows of tiny white beads trim accent the front and add further refinement to the decoration.
The skirt is beautifully constructed with a softly pleated white cotton section above a broad border of fine lace, while an additional lace overskirt creates an elegant layered silhouette. At the back, the dress closes with small white buttons and is finished at the waist with a charming pale blue silk ribbon sash tied into a generous bow.

The dress is fully lined in fine white cotton, giving the garment both structure and a beautifully finished interior.
