French "Girl with Drum" Mechanical Pull-Toy with Gaultier head

12" (30 cm.) h. excluding hat,10 and 1/2" (27 cm) length of the base and 5 and 1/2" (14 cm) wide of the base.
Standing upon a wheeled platform covered with paper, is Gaultier bisque-headed Doll with blue glass eyes,closed mouth,nicely painted features,blonde mohair wig, wooden torso, metal upper arms and legs,and carved wooden hands and feet. Posed behind a large marching drum, she is wearing a very nice original costume with red pompons and lace, matching cap,and holds cymbals and a baton. When pulled along, she is turns he head proudly from side to side,beats the drum and clangs the cymbal. Excellent bisque,original costume and accessories.
