Antique German Grodnertal doll with rare hair style
Rare all-wooden Grodnertal doll with one-piece head and torso, elongated neck, finely carved and painted features, rare carved topknot coiffure with defined side curls and painted tuck-comb, painted blue eyes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, bow-shaped lips, blushed cheeks, shapely bosom and tiny waist, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted red shoes, antique silk dress with silk embroidery.
Good condition to age.
Grodnertal, circa 1830.
