C.1879 Engraving UN JOUR DE BONHEUR after a painting by Lobrichon and engraved by Alphonse Lamotte

Fine and decorative 19th century engraving titled “Un Jour de Bonheur” (“A Day of Happiness”), after a painting by Lobrichon and engraved by Alphonse Lamotte.
The scene depicts a young girl standing outdoors, tenderly holding a basket filled with her toys, including a doll and a Polichinelle figure.
The engraving is richly detailed, especially in the foliage, fabric textures and facial expression — typical of high-quality late 19th century engraving work.

- Gravé par Alphonse Lamotte (Engraved by Alphonse Lamotte)
- Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1879 by William Schaus in the Office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington.
