Bisque socket head with amber-tinted complexion, small brown glass sleep eyes, delicately-painted curly upper lashes, black feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, black mohair wig, amber tinted composition baby body.
Marks: H made in Germany 12 243 JDK. Condition: generally excellent, Kestner, circa 1912, rare and all original unique portrait model, wearing elaborate traditional costume of emerald green satin trousers, patterned jacket and headdress in metallic threads, (condition: head perfect, a few minor wig pulls above ears), 15in (38cm) tall.
