A lovely 20" (50 cm) French bisque doll with Mon Cheri / LP / Paris / 6 incised on the back of her head. The LP is for the maker Leon Prieur. Mon Cheri means "My Darling". C.1890.
Bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, row of porcelain teeth, mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully jointed Jumeau body.
Very good condition!
In beautifully preserved condition,the doll wears her original batiste dress and bonnet.
