Pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket that attaches to original shoulder plate in a manner to allow the head to turn side-to-side only (rather than 365 degree swivel), brilliant cobalt blue glass inset enamel eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, unpierced ears, original mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers.

The doll wearing wonderful original 18th century style cream ribbed silk dress, blue front panel, cuffs, lace trim, original straw hat with blue silk ribbon, cotton chemise, petticoat, drawers, and heeled vintage cream leather boots.

Very beautiful pale bisque contrasts with the dramatic blue eyes, rare neck articulation on the signed poupee, very sturdy original body and fine antique silk gown.

17 1/4" (44 cm.) h.

Condition: generally excellent, her bisque free of hairline, restoration, any damages. Original leather body in good condition, with some small patches.

Marks: E 4 Depose B (front shoulder plate).
